He is a graduate of Panteion University and the British Institute of Marketing. He studied music at the National Conservatory, from which he graduated with honors and first prize. From an early age, he was involved in Byzantine music and participated in choirs and mandolin ensembles.

He has written works for symphony orchestra, choir, chamber music and song cycles. His works have been broadcast on Radio 3 and performed at the Athens Concert Hall, the Cultural Center of the Municipality of Cholargos, the Naka Conservatory, the Conservatory in Organoi, PARNASSOS, the Hellenic-American Union, the Aetopouleio Cultural Center, and at festivals in Heraklion Crete, Nafplio, Samos (Manolis Kalomiris), and Syros (Ermoupoli).

His works are included in four CDs released by IRIDA. He is a professor of Advanced Theory at the National Conservatory. He was member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Greek Composers, where he was financial director. He has also served as artistic director of the National Conservatory of Santorini and the Municipal Conservatory of Nafplio.
